How do you play Steal From The Rich!?

You play by stealing crates and carrying them back to your base. Walk up to a crate, press the interact button (E on PC), and your character hoists it overhead. Carry it home, cash it in, and spend the money on your base and your Speed. That loop — steal, haul, upgrade — is the entire game, and every later system just deepens it.

What are the controls on each platform?

The game officially supports desktop, mobile, console and tablet, so the loop works everywhere. The core interaction is the same on all platforms — the interact prompt (the “(E) STEAL” prompt in official art) swaps to the right input for your device:

• Desktop: standard Roblox WASD movement, E to interact and steal.
• Mobile and tablet: the on-screen jump and interact buttons.
• Console (Xbox): the Roblox console control scheme and its interact button.

If the steal prompt does not respond, you are most likely out of range or facing away from the crate — step closer until the prompt appears.

How does stealing a crate work, step by step?

Four steps: find, steal, carry, cash in.

1. Find a crate. Crates sit in the richer areas — in official art you can see a lineup of different crate types guarded by a lava monster.
2. Press the interact button (E on desktop). The prompt appears when you are close enough.
3. Carry it home. The crate rides on top of your head while you run. This is where your Speed stat matters — faster legs, safer trips.
4. Deliver it to your base and collect the loot.

While you carry, you are slower and exposed. Part of the game is deciding whether to grab one more crate or bank what you have.

What is the treadmill and why does it matter?

The treadmill is your training station: upgrade it, then train on it to gain Speed. What should you spend your first money on?

Speed first, base second. Early income is small, and Speed compounds: faster trips mean more crates per minute, which means more money for everything else. How do you reach richer areas?

You progress by meeting each area’s requirements and moving outward. The official description promises “richer areas and greater treasures,” and updates keep adding them — the Angelic Area arrived on September 29, 2026. New players should treat area unlocks as milestones: each richer area has bigger crates, which is why the progression guide orders your upgrades for you.

Do you need Robux to play Steal From The Rich!?
