Steal From The Rich! Base Building — Build & Decorate Your Dream Base
How base building works in Steal From The Rich!: turning stolen treasures into upgrades and decoration, and what the palace-scale bases look like end-game.
How does base building work in Steal From The Rich!?
Your base is where stolen loot becomes progress. The official description is explicit: “Build and decorate your dream base with your stolen treasures!” Crates you carry home turn into money and treasures, and those fund your base — its upgrades, its decoration, and the treadmill you train on. Base building is not a side mode; it is one of the two things the game asks you to upgrade, alongside the treadmill.

What can your base become?
Palace-scale, if the official art is the signpost. The showcase image on this page is official art: a deep-blue and gold palace with glowing pink and purple crystals, tiered roofs and a neon walkway — the kind of end-game base the building loop aims at. New players start far below that, and the game’s progression is deliberately visible: every upgrade session leaves your plot looking richer than the last.
What should you build first?
Income and the treadmill, decoration second. A practical order for your first sessions:
- Get your treadmill placed and leveling — Speed powers every future haul (see the Speed guide).
- Put early money into base upgrades — the parts that raise what your steals are worth.
- Decorate with treasures as they come — the treasures you collect are the decoration, which is why the game says “with your stolen treasures.”
Decoration is part of progression, not a waste: the game treats your base as the scoreboard other players see.
Do treasures do anything besides decoration?
They are the building material of your progress. “Collect valuable items like treasures” is the second pillar of the official description — treasures are what your crates contain and what your base displays and upgrades consume. The distinction that matters in practice: money buys the upgrades, treasures are the visible proof of how deep you have stolen, and both come from the same crate runs described in how to play.
How do you fund a bigger base faster?
Richer crates, shorter trips, honest play. Base money comes from crate income, so funding speed is a crate-selection problem: as your Speed grows, push toward the named crates — the Demon, Space and Archeologist crates of the crate tiers page — and follow the area progression into richer regions. Skip scripts and auto-farm tools entirely; they violate Roblox’s rules and risk the whole account (our script safety guide explains why).
Does your base matter in richer areas?
It is your launchpad. The richer the area you are stealing from — up to the Angelic Area added on September 29, 2026 — the longer the trips home and the more value each carries. A well-upgraded base with a high-level treadmill turns those long, risky hauls into routine ones. Build the base like a thief who plans to keep stealing: every upgrade should shorten or enrich the next run.
